The power of prayer

From early childhood, Nazar Stadnicenko dreamed of becoming a pianist and composer, because he loved music more than anything in the world. At age four, he reached first piano keys and seven years was already a laureate of several national competitions of music. Even the day was ten years old, received the best gift: the news that he had been invited to sing in Moscow in opening an international competition. But his joy was short-lived. In order to study musical scores that quiet would interpret them, the boy went to his grandmother in a village on the Black Sea coast of Crimea region, where he could practice in peace, away from city noises. But childhood was stronger than him and one day, Nazar closed piano lid and decided to go with other children, a trip by ship at sea. An excited adventure that awaited him, rushed out the door impatiently, when it was shut down, crushing the child's fingers. "At first, I did not realize what happened, I just felt an atrocious pain. The wall and door were full of blood, and then I turned with horror, looking to hand. Phalanges of the middle and ring fingers hung, taking only into the skin, " Nazar story a few years later.

 Crimea. After his death, thousands of faithful continued to ask for help through prayer and miracles were not late. Nowadays, both for Russia and for the whole of Orthodoxy, St. Luke of Crimea is one of the greatest saints of the twentieth century. In his relics, he had hoped and Nazar's mother, turning his steps towards the Cathedral of Simferopol. After hours of tears and prayers chose an icon of St. Luke, myrrh, and incense took holy and returned to the hospital where her son lay sick yet. Day by day, anointed with myrrh hand operated pious holy and prayed before the icon of St. Luke, which hung above his bed, Nazar.

At the hospital, doctors had a diagnosis that for Nazar sounded like a sentence: emergency had amputated phalanges! For days on end, after surgery, the child came out of silence, as if the loss of fingers would be taken and eloquent. When finally recovered from the shock began to cry, stroking his hand bandaged, "How longer play the piano?". The entire medical staff of the hospital was deeply impressed by the misfortune that had befallen the little artist. "Such cases, patients whose states requiring amputation had," says Dmitri Vasilişin, the surgeon who had operated him. "Troubled for all of us was that terrible suffering not lost fingers, but his dream crushed. It was so much pain in his voice, that I wish I could give them my fingers, that boy can sing again the piano.  A few weeks later, when the bandages were removed, the surgeon, Dmitry Vasilişin remained speechless:

I made dozens of operations, but I have never seen in my life as a finger amputated to recover completely! My amazement was so great that I immediately sent to X-rays. They have been exactly what I was seeing with the naked eye: his little bones grow back. It is a divine miracle because only God can accomplish such a wonder. How could I, in my mind of man, to can also decipher a mystery ?! "surgeon confessed in an interview.

A year after the accident, the boy's fingers were completely redone, complete with nails and Nazar began playing the piano again, with the same talent and passion. Every year in Holy Week, with his mother go on pilgrimage to the relics of St. Luke, who played his fingers. "I come here every year for the Feast of the Resurrection, because by divine grace, I am reborn! For me, losing fingers were equaled death, but God the Father and Luke were pitied and offered me a gift priceless! "said Nazar last year.

Today, Nazar Stadnicenko is 24 years old and is famous throughout Russia. His childhood dream came true and he became the pianist and composer! If this was sufficient for faith, we can not ask what kind of processes are active in the human body during prayer.
