Science and "The Church"

Edgar Mitchell was the sixth man who walked on the moon. Together with Alan Shepard and Stuart Roosa, he was part of the crew of Apollo 14, which took off from Cape Kennedy on January 31, 1971 and landed in the South Pacific on February 9, 1971. It was a triumph of engineering, science, training and management, obtained under pressure of technological competition.
